Setting Up the FedEx Integration
Step 1: Access the Integration Settings
1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
2. Click on FedEx to access the FedEx integration options.
Step 2: Configure Account Information
In the Account Information section, connect your FedEx account and set up the available options in the FedEx shipping module.
You can update the following:
• Service Types: Choose the FedEx service levels you wish to offer (e.g., Standard Overnight, 2Day).
• Packaging Types: Select the types of packaging you will use for shipments.
• Pick-Up Types: Specify your preferred package pickup options.
• Label Stock Types: Choose the label stock type for printing shipping labels.
• Label Image Types: Select the image format for your shipping labels (e.g., PDF, PNG).
• Email Notification Events: Configure which shipment events trigger email notifications.
Step 3: Set Up Configuration Presets
In the Configuration Presets section, you can create presets to expedite the shipping process. Presets allow you to save commonly used shipping configurations for quick access.
Step 4: Configure Email Notification Presets
In the Email Notifications Presets section, select users who should receive email notifications about shipments. Notifications can include updates on shipping status, delivery confirmations, and alerts for any issues that occur during transit.
Shipping Trays and Tubs Using FedEx
Step 1: Start a New Shipment
Click on the FedEx button to initiate a new shipment.
Step 2: Select Items to Ship
Choose the trays or tubs you want to ship. If you have more then one tray or tub, you have the option to ship all selected items in one package or send them individually.
Step 3: Complete the Shipping Details
In the FedEx module, provide the necessary shipping information:
Shipping From Address: Confirm or enter the sender’s address.
Shipping To Address: Confirm or enter the recipient’s address.
Note:
• The green plus icon allows you to add a new address.
• The yellow pencil icon lets you edit the address for the current shipment.
Shipping Options: Select your preferred shipping service, packaging type, and any additional options based on your presets.
Once the options are added, click Get Rates to get the FedEx rates for the shipment.
Step 4: Set Up Notifications
Configure any additional email notifications for this shipment, if necessary, to keep relevant parties informed about the shipping status.
Step 5: Print Shipping Labels
Once you press submit, you can print out the shipping and return labels.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly set up and utilize the FedEx integration to manage your shipments effectively.
